There IS something special about you. There are lots of things that make you unique and will help you stand out in the college application process. My job is to help you hone in on what you already have to offer and make sure those qualities shine through in your application. You are enough. Exactly as you are.
If you follow my advice, the odds of this happening are extremely low. I will help you develop a strategy to maximize your chances of matching to a school of your choice. You will apply to a range of colleges, demonstrate your interest in these schools, and craft a compelling application that showcases your talents and skills. Students who do not get accepted to college do have options including submitting late applications and taking a gap year. But don’t get ahead of yourself.
I will help you communicate with your parents through exercises that clarify your goals and ambitions. While your predicted career path will influence your college choices, I will encourage you to remain open to new possibilities as you pursue your education. Most students end up changing their college majors at least once. College is a time for you to explore your interests and opportunities.
It is never too early to plan for college. I will help you assess your goals and map out a plan to achieve them. As early as middle school, we can discuss your course selections, extracurricular activities, and summer plans, ensuring your choices will bolster your resume AND enrich you as a person.
